                        RISING STARS FOUNDATION

The Rising Stars Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded by Mike "Pops" Adams and Gerald Hayes. These two professional football players are committed to changing the lives of the inner-city children in their native Paterson, New Jersey. The Rising Stars Foundation, Inc. provides academic, social, cultural, and life skills instruction and exposure for the kids who are most often "forgotten." The Rising Stars motto is "Reaching Back, while Moving Forward."

The basis for the Foundation’s programs is derived from a community-based concept which focuses on the community helping the community. By allowing the people from the community to use their professional and life experiences and resources to help advance the youth in the area, it is our hope that the youth will be compelled by the outreach they will receive to want to give back to their own community to continue the giving and effective change cycle

                           INTERFAITH FOOD PANTRY

Through raffles and 50-50 events, we have collected money and donated to the Interfaith Food Pantry of Morris County, New Jersey.  The Interfaith Food Pantry distributes supplemental and/or emergency food to eligible Morris County residents in need, provides hands on opportunities for neighbors to help neighbors and educates the public about the issues of hunger in our area.  The Browns Backers of North Jersey will continue to donate to this charity during the upcoming season.

Click on the Interfaith Food Pantry banner below to see how you can be a neighbor helping a neighbor.

Looking forward to a great 2010!
